Folding@Home Summary
What is Folding@Home? Folding@Home is a distributed computing project which studies protein folding, misfolding, aggregation, and related diseases. It uses novel computational methods and large scale distributed computing, to simulate timescales thousands to millions of times longer than previously achieved. This allows for the simulation of folding for the first time, and allows for the examination of folding related diseases, such as Cancer, Alzheimer's, Mad Cow (BSE), CJD, ALS, and Parkinson's disease. Please visit the Folding@Home website for additional information. | Results from Folding@Home simulations of villin | How can you help?
